MOTs
An MOT is an inspection of your vehicle to check that it meets the environmental and safety standards required for the public highway.
Our tests are carried out using the latest machinery and equipment in accordance with DVSA regulations. Our team completes all MOTs in an open and honest manner and will be happy to discuss any issues or advisories with you should they arise.
Please note, that you can get an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out and keep the same renewal date.
SERVICING
Servicing and inspecting your vehicle helps to maintain its performance, value and safety. This can improve its lifespan as well as help to reduce the risk of breakdown. Our services can include oil and fluid changes, filter replacements and much more depending on the vehicle’s previous history and requirements.

BRAKE REPAIRS / MAINTENANCE

Air conditioning

Povall Mechanics Ltd can carry out an air con check for you which consists of looking for leaks, diagnosing why the system is no longer keeping you cool and carrying out repairs. We can also re-gas the old systems (R134a) and the new (R1234yf) both at competitive prices.
Front Wheel Tracking
The front wheel tracking on your vehicle can be affected by bad road surfaces, potholes and kerbs.
This can mean the vehicle pulling to the left or right, or noticeable differences when steering and manoeuvring. It can also damage your tyres prematurely resulting in costly replacements. We can offer a check and adjustment if required.
